A successful fourth student conference "Energy efficiency and sustainable development" SCEESD 2016.

A successful third student conference "Energy efficiency and sustainable development" SCEESD 2015.

From 19-21 November, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies the third student conference "Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Development" SCEESD 2015 took place. The conference was organized by the Faculty in collaboration with the Association for Research and Promotion of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Development SKEEOR - Skopje.

For the third year in a row, the current questions and joint research in the field of energy efficiency were brought together. About 70 participants took part in the conference, among which 5 plenary lecturers and six presentations from companies whose activity is in close corelation with the fields of the conference: EVN Macedoina, Loging Electronics, Veze Sharri, Johnson Matthey, Vint and Deltaproekt.

The primary goal of SCEESD is to encourage research work in students, so this year about 40 scientific papers, written with the help of professors - mentors from FEEIT and the other technical faculties were presented. Beside students from FEEIT, students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy and the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering also took part in the conference. As of this year, the conference has an international character, with the participation of students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Ljubljana, the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš and Ege University in Izmir.

With this conference, the bridges of colaboration between students, professors and companies in the energy sector were extended, which provided an excellent opportunity to make new contacts and to exchange knowledge and experiences. Young intellectuals are increasingly aware of the problems related to energy efficiency and sustainable development, which was easily noticeable through the full conference hall of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies where the sessions took place.

SCEESD 2015 recieved enormous help from EVN Macedonia, the IEEE Republic of Macedonia Section, Loging Electronics, Veze Sharri, Vint, Pakomak, Mak-Jams, KMG EOL Kvazar, Vitalia, Nescafe, Zhito Luks, Zhito Leb etc.
